Bridgenorth Football Club Senior Mens Team
Introducing Our

SENIOR MENS

NEW COACH. NEW DRIVE. SAME BRIDGENORTH PRIDE.

The Bridgenorth Senior Men’s team is stepping into a new chapter in 2026 under head coach Zachary Griffiths. With fresh leadership, renewed energy, and a playing group ready to work, the mission is clear: build hard, connected football and push deep into finals. The immediate target is simple, win a final, something the senior side hasn’t achieved in seven years. This season is about turning close losses into wins, building belief, and proving what this group is truly capable of.

Just as important to the club’s future is the strength of its pathway, and 2026 also sees Roger Menzie step into the role of Reserves Coach. Roger brings a strong understanding of the club and a focus on development, consistency, and accountability. His role will be critical in preparing players for senior football, maintaining competitive standards across the squad, and ensuring the Reserves side plays a style of footy that mirrors the seniors.

Together, the senior and reserves programs are aligned around one clear objective: creating depth, connection, and a winning culture across the entire men’s program. The focus isn’t just on results, but on building a sustainable football environment where players are challenged, supported, and ready to step up when called upon. 2026 marks the start of that reset, with clear standards, clear roles, and a collective belief that Bridgenorth Football Club is capable of more.

Training for game day

Zach’s role extends beyond just the senior side. The focus in 2026 is alignment across the entire men’s program, Seniors, Reserves and U18.5s all on the same page in how we train, play, and compete. The direction is to develop our young list while backing in the veterans who want to win now, building a squad that’s ready to climb without losing its edge.

Every training session and game day will be driven by three non-negotiables that set our standard: Max Effort, Relentless, and Hard to Play Against. These pillars define what Bridgenorth men’s footy looks like in 2026, consistent effort, repeat pressure, and a side that competes hard for four quarters.

Training will be high-rep and match-ready. Sessions aim for 400+ ball touches across a variety of game scenarios, with a strong focus on skills under pressure so we’re ready when the heat comes on.
