Events That Build the Club

Our events calendar helps keep Bridgenorth strong. It brings players, families, supporters, sponsors, and past players together, recognises the work that goes into every season, and strengthens the connections that sit behind good footy. Just as importantly, these events support the programs and resources that keep the club competitive and moving forward.

MAJOR CLUB EVENTS

These are the nights and days where we step away from the grind, enjoy each other’s company, and celebrate the community that makes Bridgenorth what it is.

Ladies Day

Ladies Day is our way of celebrating the women who are part of the Bridgenorth club and wider community. It’s a full club day featuring a guest speaker, great food and drinks, and plenty of prizes, a chance to come together, enjoy Parrot Park, and acknowledge the women who help make this club what it is.

Best & Fairest Count

At season’s end, the Best & Fairest count is where performance and consistency are recognised. It’s about rewarding the players who set standards and deliver across the year.

Awards Night Dinner

Our end-of-season Awards Night is the full-club wrap-up — teams, volunteers, milestones, and contributions across the season. It’s about recognising the people who drive this club forward.

Past Players Luncheon

Past Players Luncheons keep our history sharp and our connections real. They’re a chance for former Parrots to return to Parrot Park, reconnect, and remain part of the club’s future.

Annual Ball (late July)

Usually held late July, the annual ball is one of the biggest nights of the year. It’s a mid-season marker where the club comes together off the field, backs in the year ahead, and celebrates what we’re building.

Social Nights & In-Season Events

We also run regular social and fundraising nights through the season. They vary year to year, but you’ll see staples like:

  • Silent discos
  • Beer pong nights
  • Trivia nights
  • Club dinners
  • Player and team events
  • Other in-season socials as they come up

These nights matter! They keep the club tight, bring new people in, and build the environment that strong footy clubs are built on.
