At Bridgenorth Football Club, we’re proud of what our teams represent. Not just football, but a shared legacy built at Parrot Park through community, belief, and the kind of grit that keeps defying expectations.
Whether you’re a seasoned player looking for a competitive, connected club, returning to footy after time away, or pulling on the boots for the first time, there’s a place for you here. We’re building something across every level of the club, and we want people who want to be part of it.
Here’s what each team looks like for 2026.
Celebrating 100 years of Bridgenorth Football Club
The Senior Men’s program starts 2026 under head coach Zach Griffiths with a direct goal. Play finals. There’s no shortcut to that. It comes from pre-season work, consistent standards, and team-first football.
This group is committed to building a competitive brand of footy that stands up across a season. The mindset is to improve fast, stay honest with the work, and take control of the result.
With several new sign ons and a loyal team sticking to see this finals campaign through, we are feeling quietly confident that 2026 is a year we won't forget any time soon.
We want players of all levels. And if you’re an experienced footballer looking for a club that’s serious about competing and getting better, we want you in the mix.
Winning in 2024 and 2025 wasn’t a finish line, it set a standard. The Senior Women’s group heads into 2026 with belief in their game, trust in each other, and a clear aim to keep earning results the right way.
Coach Alec Daniels steps in after being part of the 2024 premiership as assistant/line coach. He knows the program, knows the players, and knows what the level requires. The focus stays the same: strong fundamentals, hard team footy, and constant improvement.
We’re bringing in players from all backgrounds and experience levels, and we want competitive, experienced footballers who are ready to add to a strong program, not talk about it.
UNDER 18.5s
Under 18.5s is where the next wave gets ready. This team is built for players who want to take their football seriously and move into senior footy with confidence, strength, and a clear understanding of what the level demands.
Coaches Ryan Byard and Alec Roberts run a program that’s about development with standards, not just turning up, but improving. You’ll be coached on the details, challenged in the contest, and backed to grow your game in a strong club environment.
Eligibility: Players who are under 18.5 years old as of December 31 this year are eligible.
What this team is about:
Our Reserves program is where good players become reliable senior footballers. It’s a competitive team with its own edge, and it plays a serious role in where the club goes next. We know what it's like to be on the big stage. 2026 is our year to bring home the flag.
The focus is clear. Build speed in the contest, build composure under pressure, and build players who are ready when the seniors call. That means honest training, strong team standards, and a game style that doesn’t drop off when things get tough.
If you’re new to senior footy, returning after time away, or pushing to cement a senior spot, this is the place to sharpen your game and earn your next step. You won’t be parked here, you’ll be developed here, challenged in the contest, and backed to grow your game in a strong club environment.
This episode is called "The Backstory". A special centenary edition, narrating the highs, the lows, and the unforgettable moments that shaped Bridgenorth FC over the last century.
