WELCOMING OUR 2026 RESERVES COACH ROGER MENZIE

WELCOMING OUR 2026 RESERVES COACH ROGER MENZIE

The club is absolutely thrilled to announce the appointment of our 2026 Reserves Coach, Roger Menzie.

Roger is no stranger to Parrot Park or the NTFA, and we’re proud to welcome him back to the club. His connection with Bridgenorth runs deep, beginning in 2003 when he took on the role of Bridgenorth Reserves Coach, and continuing through his time playing a couple of seasons at Parrot Park. Roger understands what this club stands for, what our people value, and what it means to represent Bridgenorth with pride.

Since his earlier stint with us, Roger has built an impressive football journey across the north, spending time with Uni Mowbray, Hillwood, and most recently St Pats. His most recent coaching role saw him make a significant impact as St Pats’ inaugural Senior Women’s Coach, a testament to his ability to lead, build culture, and develop a group from the ground up.

Before moving to the north of the state, Roger was part of an extraordinary era of success, winning five straight grand finals with Richmond in the Old Scholars League. That experience, combined with his long-term involvement in coaching and playing, has shaped him into a well-respected, highly knowledgeable football person with a genuine passion for helping players improve and teams thrive.

Roger brings a level of experience and credibility that will be invaluable to our program in 2026. We’re particularly excited about what his leadership will mean for our young Reserves group, not just in terms of skill and game development, but in building confidence, connection, and readiness for senior football. The Reserves program is a crucial part of our club’s future, and Roger is the perfect person to guide that group with purpose and care.

Welcome back to Parrot Park, Roger! We’re wrapped to have you home.
