ROUND 16 MATCH REPORT 

It was another outstanding weekend for the Bridgenorth Parrots, with all four teams recording victories. There were milestone games, debutants making their mark and some dominant performances as the club continues to build towards the pointy end of the season.

Women's

The Women's side delivered a remarkable performance, defeating Meander Valley 207 | 0 in one of the club's most dominant wins of the season.

Courtney Sharman was unstoppable in front of goal with an incredible nine-goal haul, while Lucy Cooper added six majors as the Parrots piled on the scoreboard pressure. Congratulations also to Hayley Daniels, who made her debut for the club and celebrated in style with three goals.

A special mention goes to Taja Richardson, who was awarded Best on Ground for Road Awareness Week, recognising another outstanding performance as part of the NTFA initiative.

Under 18.5s

The Under 18.5s produced one of the finishes of the season, defeating Old Scotch 55 | 49 in a thrilling contest.

With the scores locked at 49 apiece in the dying moments, the young Parrots surged forward and kicked the winning goal with only seconds remaining to claim another victory.

Congratulations to Wesley Bartlett, who made his debut for the club and announced himself in style with three goals while also earning a place among the team's best players.

With the win, the Under 18.5s have now won five of their past six games and have two matches remaining as they continue their push towards the end of the season.

Reserves

The Reserves continued their outstanding season with an 81 | 40 victory over Lilydale.

It was also a special day for two Parrots, with Tom Gibson celebrating his 50th game and Ryan Byard reaching the milestone of 100 games for the club. Congratulations to both players on fantastic achievements.

The victory means the Reserves have just one home and away game remaining against St Patrick's before they turn their attention to the finals series.

Seniors

The Seniors capped off the day with a commanding 110 | 42 victory over Lilydale.

The Parrots came out firing, opening the game with a dominant first quarter to lead 46 to 4, before continuing to build on their advantage throughout the afternoon.

It was also a milestone match for Oliver Wood, who celebrated his 100th game for the club.

Zach Griffiths and Rohan Sergeant were both prolific in front of goal, combining eight goals as Bridgenorth controlled the contest from start to finish.

The win sees the Seniors finish Round 16 on top of the ladder, with just one home and away game remaining against St Patrick's before finals begin.

With every team recording a win, it was another fantastic weekend for the Parrots. While the Seniors and Reserves now look ahead to their final home and away match before finals, our Under 18.5s have two games remaining and the Women's side has three games left as they continue their charge towards the end of another exciting season.
