ROUND 15 MATCH REPORT
It was another exciting weekend for the Bridgenorth Parrots, with three wins from four games against Old Launcestonians at Invermay Park.
The Under 18.5s produced one of the games of the season, edging out Old Launcestonians 60 to 58 in a thrilling contest.
The young Parrots controlled the first half before Old Launcestonians fought back to take the lead in the third quarter, with the scoreboard reading 50 to 42 at the final change. Refusing to give in, Bridgenorth mounted one last charge, kicking the match-winning goal in the dying minutes to claim an unforgettable two-point victory.

Women's
The Women's side returned from two consecutive byes in style, defeating Old Launcestonians 66 to 13.
It was a tight contest early, with Bridgenorth taking a narrow lead into the main break after kicking two goals while restricting Old Launcestonians to just one. The Parrots then exploded after halftime, taking complete control in the third quarter to build a commanding 46 to 7 lead before finishing off a convincing victory.
A special congratulations also goes to Alex Dickenson, who celebrated her 50th game for the club with a goal in a memorable team performance. It was also a memorable day for Layla Voorham, who made an outstanding debut for the Parrots, announcing herself in style with four goals and earning a place among the team's best players.

Reserves
The Reserves suffered their first defeat of the season, going down to Old Launcestonians 56 to 49 in a hard-fought contest.
The scores were level at the first break before Old Launcestonians opened up a lead during the second quarter. Bridgenorth responded strongly after halftime to briefly regain the advantage heading into the final term, but Old Launcestonians finished the game strongly to claim the win.
Despite the result, the Reserves can be proud of an outstanding unbeaten run that has been a feature of their season.

The Seniors rounded out the day with another impressive victory, defeating Old Launcestonians 101 to 54.
It was an even contest early, with Bridgenorth holding a narrow one-point lead at quarter time, 26 to 25. From there, the Parrots lifted another gear, controlling the remainder of the match to record a dominant win on the road.
The goals were shared around in another excellent team performance, while the midfield and defence combined to limit Old Launcestonians' scoring opportunities after the opening quarter.
