It was another big day of football for the Bridgenorth Parrots, with all four sides taking on Old Scotch at NTCA Ground 1. While the Under 18.5s and Women's sides battled hard against tough opposition, the Reserves continued their unbeaten season and the Seniors secured another important victory to remain at the top end of the ladder.
Under 18.5s
The Under 18.5s kicked off the day bright and early at 8:45am in their Round 9 catch-up match against Old Scotch.
After managing just one goal before half time, the young Parrots lifted their intensity after the main break, finishing the game with 3 goals and 4 behinds. Despite the improved second half, Old Scotch had already established a strong lead, taking a 41-point advantage into the long break before running out 85 to 22 winners.

Although the scoreboard didn't fall the Parrots' way, the team continued to compete throughout the match and showed plenty of determination against a quality opposition.

Reserves
The Reserves continued their outstanding 2026 season, defeating Old Scotch 69 to 38 to keep their undefeated streak alive.
It was another composed and consistent performance from the Parrots, who controlled the contest across four quarters to claim another important victory.

The Seniors capped off the day with an important 74 to 58 victory over Old Scotch.
It was a tight contest early, with Bridgenorth holding a slender one-point lead at quarter time, 15 to 14. From there, the Parrots gradually took control to secure another valuable win.
Rohan Sergeant was outstanding in front of goal, finishing with six majors in another brilliant performance.
