The Bridgenorth Football Club is absolutely delighted to announce Alec Daniels as our Senior Women’s Coach for 2026.
Alec returns to the role with a strong connection to our women’s program and a proven track record within it. As an assistant coach during our 2024 premiership season, Alec played a key part in setting the standards that have shaped this group’s success. Over that time, he’s built genuine, close relationships with our players and coaching team, and he understands exactly what makes this squad tick, on the field and off it.
With many years of coaching experience at the junior level before joining the Parrots, Alec brings a deep understanding of player development, long-term growth, and creating confident footballers who back themselves. He also comes in with a clear view of what modern-day coaching requires: strong communication, consistent expectations, and the ability to get the best out of a group while keeping the environment positive and connected.
One of Alec’s greatest strengths is the energy he brings. His enthusiasm is contagious, his approach is supportive and purposeful, and from day one, he has fit into our women’s program seamlessly. He’s passionate about building a playing group that works hard, plays tough footy, and continues to grow together, and that passion already matches the mindset of this team.
After back-to-back premierships in 2024 and 2025, we are entering 2026 with belief, momentum, and a hunger to keep lifting the bar. Alec is the perfect person to lead this next chapter not just to defend what we’ve built, but to take the program to an even higher level.
We’re stoked to have Alec stepping into the head coach role, and we can’t wait to see what our Senior Women’s group can achieve under his leadership in 2026.
